#2 Where The Streets Have No Name
Apparently a song about heaven. I think it is played in heaven. Edge said he did a dance, all alone, punching the air, after making this tune. He knew he had done something extraordinary. And I guess that says it all about this song.

Great song! I just got a little bored with it. But let me assure you, Where the streets... was an immediate favourite, on an album that seemed a little strange. It took some months to really understand all the excitement many expressed over Joshua tree. Fantastic opening with Streets and Still haven't found, but from then on it sounded like the experiments did't succeed as much as on The unforgettable fire. But TODAY, the complete Joshua tree shines like a diamond in pop music! Oh yeah, when the guitar enters...the opening part of Streets is reeeally spine-tingling!
